The ideal all-inclusive safari experience near Chobe National Park.

Posted on Tue January 8, 2019.

On your way to Botswana? Tlouwana Camp offers the best all-inclusive African safari experience within a 20 min drive of the world famous Chobe National Park. This is the ideal place from which to experience the unprecedented herds of elephants found in Chobe National Park, while having the peace of mind that all your transport, accommodation, meals and activities are already included and taken care of.

Tlouwana Camp was conceptualised and built by owners Luke and Danny Riggs. The camp consists of seven classic safari tents and one extra-large family tent. The camp will mesmerise you with the brilliant stars of the African night skies, the roar of lions at night and the raucous of bird song first thing in the mornings. The camp offers a communal lounge and dining area where hearty meals are served three times per day. The raised wooden platform at the water hole is an ideal spot for game viewing and sundowners, especially as the dusk closes in and the spotlights turn the water hole into your own private Discovery Channel. The dining room, bar, and refreshing swimming pool are a few other favourites among our guests.

When the camp itself is not yet satisfying your sense of adventure, you can choose from our morning boat cruises or afternoon game drives in Chobe National Park, a day trip to Victoria Falls, or even a cultural bicycle tour to nearby Lesoma Village

Whichever way you choose to experience Botswana, you can be sure to bump into quite a few elephants along the way, especially in Chobe National Park!

Chobe National Park is home to Africa's largest elephant population and houses between 50 000 and 120 000 elephants. The park also has a variety of habitats ranging from extremely dry savannah to cooler woodland areas.  This creates unparalleled biodiversity.  Chobe is home to four of the big five species, namely: elephants (of course), lions, leopards and buffalos, accompanied by zebras, hyenas and various antelope and buck species. Tlouwana’s game drives and river safaris on the majestic Chobe River enable guests to experience nature in an exciting and awe-inspiring way.

Luke, Danny and their staff strive to create a comfortable and convenient stay for all guests by ensuring personalised attention to guests at all time. Tlouwana offers an all-inclusive African safari experience that takes care of all meals, drinks, transportation and activities - giving guests the freedom to experience their Botswana safari without the added stress of unnecessary logistics.
